In March I wrote about a vision I was calling AfterPew 2.0 — a place where believers could find the answers I had to dig for alone, and practice saying them out loud before the room got hard.
That vision got smaller and clearer. It became an app.
Meek — Faith Out Loud is free on the Apple App Store.
I built it because believing something and being able to say it out loud are two different skills. Almost nobody practices the second one. Someone asks about your faith — not to argue, they actually want to know — and you freeze. It isn’t that you don’t believe it. You just haven’t said it with your mouth enough times for it to be ready when it matters.
Meek hands you a real objection in a real setting. A coworker whose friend got sick. A classmate after a biology lecture. A friend hurt by a church who hasn’t been back. You answer out loud, the way you’d actually have to. Then it coaches you: what landed, what was missing, a clearer way to say it next time.
There’s more than a hundred objections drawn from what people actually ask — science and faith, suffering, other religions, the reliability of the Bible, church hypocrisy, who Jesus claimed to be. Every one stated at its strongest. No straw men. Scripture that bears on it. A plain warning about the arguments Christians commonly get wrong.
A full Bible is built in. Reading plans. Multiple canons if you need them. Ask Augustine when a question won’t leave you alone. Your recorded answers stay with their objections, so you can hear yourself grow.
It is named for 1 Peter 3:15 — always be prepared to give an answer, but do it with gentleness and respect. The manner is the point, not a footnote. Meek will not train you to win arguments or talk down to anyone. It trains you to be ready and kind at the same time, because the person asking is usually not an opponent.
Private by default. No account. No sign-up. We never ask for your name or your email. Built by one person, with prayer and late nights — AfterPew Ministries LLC.
If you read that earlier post and wondered whether anything would come of it: this is what came of it. Not the whole platform yet. The first thing that needed to exist.

If you try it, tell me what freezes you. That’s the work.
