What Meek does

Meek gives you a real objection to the Christian faith — the kind a friend, coworker, or classmate actually raises — and asks you to answer it out loud. It transcribes what you said, then coaches you on the answer: what landed, what was missing, and what you might say instead. You can also type your answer if you would rather not speak.

The microphone is not working

Meek needs microphone permission to hear your answer. Open the iOS Settings app, scroll down to Meek, and make sure Microphone is switched on. If you would rather not use your voice at all, you can switch to typed answers inside the drill.

Feedback is taking a long time

Scoring an answer usually takes about fifteen seconds, because your answer is transcribed first and then evaluated. Occasionally it takes a minute or two. If it fails, Meek retries automatically once. A weak network connection is the usual cause — try again on a stronger signal.

I disagree with the coaching

Sometimes it is wrong, and we want to know. Email us the objection you were answering and roughly what you said, and we will look at it. Feedback like this is how the drills get sharper.

Deleting your data

Meek has no account and never asks for your name or email. To erase everything it has stored for your device, open Settings inside the app and tap Delete My Data. It is immediate and permanent. You can also email us and we will do it for you.
