Meek — iOS app

Acceptance

By using Meek you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Meek is

Meek is a Christian apologetics practice tool. It includes spoken practice, coaching, a built-in Bible reader, and reading plans. It is not a substitute for theological education, pastoral counsel, or professional advice of any kind.

Your use

You agree to use Meek for personal faith development and practice only. Commercial reproduction requires written permission from AfterPew Ministries LLC.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Meek, or any Meek connector, to:

  • Harass, threaten, or demean other people.
  • Spam, scam, or impersonate anyone.
  • Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer our services beyond ordinary use.
  • Use automated access in a way that harms the service or other users.
  • Misrepresent Meek’s content as the official teaching of Meta, Muse, or any church.

Content

Objections, feedback, and video content are provided for educational and devotional purposes. AfterPew Ministries LLC makes no guarantee that responses coached by the app will be effective in any specific real-world conversation.

Video from YouTube

Teaching videos play through YouTube’s embedded player. Those videos belong to the creators and channels who published them, not to AfterPew, and featuring one is not an endorsement of everything that creator has said. By using Meek you also agree to YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. If something in the app should not be there, email us and we will look at it.

Scripture

Meek carries the Berean Standard Bible and the King James Version, both in the public domain, and the Accessible Ancients Bible, released by AO Lab under CC0. The Accessible Ancients Bible is a living draft and is revised by its publisher from time to time.

AI-generated feedback and Ask Augustine

Drill feedback and every reply from Ask Augustine are generated by artificial intelligence. They are a practice aid, not pastoral counsel, and they can be wrong. They do not represent the theological positions of AfterPew Ministries LLC in every instance. Weigh what they say against Scripture and use your own discernment.

What you send us

Objections you submit through Suggest an Objection may be used, edited, or published in the app without payment or attribution. Do not send anything confidential, and do not send someone else’s personal information.

Meta Muse

If you connect Meek inside Meta’s Muse agent, Muse may request drills and Bible passages on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time. Meta’s terms also apply to Muse.

Disclaimer

Meek is provided as-is. AfterPew Ministries LLC is not liable for any outcomes arising from conversations informed by use of this app. To the fullest extent allowed by law, AfterPew Ministries LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AfterPew Ministries LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Meek. Our total liability for any claim relating to Meek will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for Meek in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Governing law
